An already wet Quail Hollow may get another soaking on Saturday.

A deluge of rain soaked PGA host Quail Hollow earlier this week, and the first two rounds of play have been plagued by wet conditions and mud balls.
Now, just when it seemed like things were starting to dry out for the weekend, more wet weather could be on the way.
At 7:30 a.m. local time, practice was suspended due to dangerous weather conditions in the area, 45 minutes before the first pairing was scheduled to tee off. Play was officially suspended at 8:15 a.m.
According to the forecast, a severe thunderstorm watch will be in effect until 12 p.m. local time. The forecast noted that the line of strong to severe thunderstorms will weaken as they approach the Charlotte area on Saturday morning, and the storms are expected to exit the Charlotte area around 10 a.m. local time.
But even with the storms out of the way, the players will then have to handle some significant wind. Steady breezes of 14-18 mph are expected to blow, with winds gusting to 28 mph over the course of the afternoon.
Tournament leaders Jhonattan Vegas and Matthieu Pavon are currently scheduled to play in the last pairing at 2:45 p.m. local time on Saturday. A significant delay means the third round will likely finish on Sunday before the final round is played.
Luckily, Sunday’s forecast currently looks non-threatening. No rain expected, and winds should be mild at 10-15 mph.
