Borussia Dortmund open their Club World Cup campaign against Fluminense at MetLife Stadium in New York this afternoon.
Niko Kovac’s men rounded off the Bundesliga season strongly, finishing fourth to scrape into next season’s Champions League.
They have also strengthened since the end of the domestic campaign, bringing in Jobe Bellingham from Sunderland on a deal that would represent a club record fee if all the add-ons are achieved.
Brazilian side Fluminense secured their place at the competition by virtue of winning the 2023 Copa Libertadores.
They reached the final of the Club World Cup in the same year but lost to Manchester City.
