Cat Ferguson (Movistar) out-sprinted Josie Nelson (Picnic-PostNl) from a five-rider escape group to claim stage 3 of the Tour of Britain. Ally Wollaston (FDJ-SUEZ) was third.
It was a disastrous day for race leader Kristen Faulkner (EF-Oatly) who had a crash and several stops to get her gear working again.
