Manchester City welcome Erling Haaland back onto the pitch as they visit Southampton hoping to take another step towards Champions League qualification.
Haaland has not played since suffering an ankle injury in the FA Cup win over Bournemouth on March 30.
He was an unused substitute in the win at Wolves last time out but, after Pep Guardiola declared him fit for the visit to relegated Southampton, Haaland will look to rediscover his goalscorer touch at St Mary’s.
It would be a perfectly timed return to the scoresheet, as City face Crystal Palace in the FA Cup final next weekend.

The question for City surrounded whether Haaland would be involved from the start of play a cameo role off the bench.
Guardiola has elected to play him from the start, giving Haaland the opportunity to add to his tally of 21 Premier League goals, which trails only Mohamed Salah (28) and Alexander Isak (23) this season.

Haaland is inlcuded as part of five changes for City from the side that beat Wolves last time out.
Rico Lewis, Manuel Akanji, James McAtee and Phil Foden also come into the side, with Matheus Nunes, Nico O’Reilly, Ilkay Gundogan, Jeremy Doku and Omar Marmoush dropping out.
