Now, instead of your rangefinder giving you a raw number and leaving you guessing, the device takes everything it knows about you and gives you a personalized distance based on playing conditions and how you’re swinging. 

So, if you shoot the flag and it’s 162 yards away, the device might tell you it’s playing more like 177 today based on some of the following data variables:  

-Elevation change 
-Temperature 
-Humidity 
-Air pressure 
-How you launch the ball
