2025 U.S. Open tee times: Scottie Scheffler plays a shot during a practice round at Oakmont.

World No. 1 Scottie Scheffler is hunting for his fourth major win at the 2025 U.S. Open.

The 2025 U.S. Open begins Thursday, June 12, with the opening round at Oakmont in Pennsylvania. You can find full U.S. Open tee times for Thursday’s first round at the bottom of this post.

Featured tee time for Round 1

For Scottie Scheffler, there is very little left to prove on the golf course. Scheffler has been cemented in the No. 1 position in the Official World Golf Ranking forever. He’s also won three of his last four tournaments to push his PGA Tour win total to 16.

But though Scheffler won the PGA Championship in May for his third major victory, he has never won the U.S. Open. That should give him plenty of motivation to hunt for the victory this week at Oakmont. Not that he needed it.

Scheffler will open the tournament in Thursday’s afternoon wave, before switching to a morning tee time on Friday.

U.S. Open Preview: Top Players and Betting Insights for a Tough Course

As the US Open approaches, NBC and Peacock lead the coverage. Experts highlight the challenging course, favoring elite players like Scottie Scheffler and Bryson DeChambeau. Shane Lowry, in strong form, is a dark horse at 33-1 odds. Will he rise to the occasion?

Scheffler tees off for the opening round on Thursday at 1:25 p.m. ET alongside Collin Morikawa and Viktor Hovland.

You can watch Thursday’s first round of the U.S. Open from 6 a.m.-5 p.m. ET on USA. You can also stream exclusive online coverage via Peacock from 5-8 p.m. ET on Thursday. Featured group coverage can be found via Peacock, USOpen.com and the USGA app.
