The 2025 U.S. Open kicks off this week at historic Oakmont in Pennsylvania, where the game’s top players will compete for the third major of 2025. Here’s everything you need to know about the 2025 U.S. Open schedule, including online streaming details, U.S. Open TV times and more.
How to watch the U.S. Open
Somehow, some way, we’re already halfway through 2025 major season in men’s golf. And once the 2025 U.S. Open is complete on Sunday, there will be only one men’s major left to play.
‘Cooked beyond belief’: Bryson DeChambeau shocked by Oakmont’s crazy rough

That means the opportunites to make major history this season are getting slim for the best players in the world. That’s not as much of a concern for the two top-ranked pros. World No. 1 Scottie Scheffler and World No. 2 Rory McIlroy already have major victories this year, at the PGA Championship and Masters, respectively.
But that doesn’t mean Scottie and Rory will be letting up. For Scheffler, a win this week at Oakmont would give him the third leg of the career grand slam.
For McIlroy, a victory would give him his sixth major title. That would tie Phil Mickelson, who might be playing in his final U.S. Open this week (a win would give Phil the career Grand Slam).
Then there’s defending champion Bryson DeChambeau. DeChambeau’s 2024 win was his second U.S. Open title. He visited Oakmont last week to get in some practice, and he was shocked by the course’s thick, long rough.
TV coverage for the 2025 U.S. Open will be provided by NBC and USA, with NBC offering the most broadcast coverage in major championship history.
