Two players lead the field at the Charles Schwab Challenge halfway point: Ben Griffin and Matti Schmid are 11 under par, two shots clear of their closest competitor, John Pak.
Schmid is still seeking his first PGA Tour victory, while Griffin is looking for his second, after notching a win at the Zurich Classic alongside teammate Andrew Novak earlier this year.
World No. 1 Scottie Scheffler is surprisingly not in contention heading into Round 3. He’s one under par and T51 through two rounds.
You can watch the third round of the Charles Schwab Challenge on TV via Golf Channel, which will air coverage starting at 1 p.m. ET on Saturday, followed by the CBS broadcast at 3 p.m.. PGA Tour Live on ESPN+ will provide early coverage and featured group streaming coverage beginning at 7:45 a.m. ET.
